The Center for Spiritual Living Granada Hills’ mission is to celebrate the divinity in everyone.
Our Center for Spiritual Living in Granada Hills offers a warm welcome to all people in search of a spiritual community where they are embraced, affirmed and accepted for who they are, as well as inspired and supported to grow into their highest potential.
Welcome from Rev. Michael McMorrow
I’m so grateful you are taking the time to visit Center for Spiritual Living Granada Hills.
The experience of Religious Science is much more than a church experience; it is a way of life – one that our founder, Dr. Ernest Holmes, intended to be used by all religions, creeds, ethnic backgrounds and walks of life. As we say every Sunday, “We honor all who are on their spiritual pathway who practice their beliefs in faith and love.” We offer opportunities for personal growth and insight, so that each person who shares our adventure is equipped to handle life’s challenges from a place of strength and confidence.
in addition to our Wednesday and Sunday services, we also offer on-going classes and workshops supporting the Truth that we are whole, perfect, and complete just as we are. There is nothing we need to heal; there is only some greater Truth to be revealed.
I welcome your visit to our “Center with a Heart” on Sunday or Wednesday, as well as Monday through Thursday from 9:00 to 5:00. My door is always open.

Metaphorical Approach to the Bible
(8) Tuesdays, Nov. 28- Feb. 6, at 7:00 pm
How are the stories of the Bible actually the stories of our own Soul’s journeys and, through exploration, can we apply some of the wisdom of these scriptures to our daily lives?
This class explores the Bible as a story and as a myth. Drawing from sources as diverse as Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Aesop, Joseph Campbell, and Jelaluddin Rumi, this course looks at the many life stories in the Bible where we play every character. Students will learn powerful and effective tools for translation and interpretation of these stories. No class on Dec. 26.
Tuition: $155 & bring your own bible.
Sankta Lucia Celebration
Sunday, Dec. 10 9:00 am and 10:00 am Services
Sankta Lucia, with candles in her hair and her procession of handmaidens & a star boy, is bringing Light into the world while singing in Swedish! This very positive and “enlightening” tradition first appeared in Sweden in 1764. The origin is Saint Lucy, a 3rd-century martyr from Syracuse, Italy.
Join us for a special candle-lit Swedish Lucia celebration full of feeling during both Sunday Services this week.

Spiral of Light Winter Solstice Ceremony
Wednesday, Dec. 20, 7:00 pm
Come and walk the Spiral
with us, and place your
Inner Light in the path of
Life with loving care
Rekindling the light in each one of us at the darkest time of the year!
In the dark descent, we light a fire within. The spiral holds many secrets: sacred geometry, the spirit’s womb, vortexes, organic growth, even (and especially) the big bang and the shape of the unfolding Universe. Working with the spiral, your compassionate spirits can heal your deepest issues, and remake you in your divine perfection.
You’re invited to take a seat around the circle, surrounding the Spiral of Light. Our minister sets the tone of spiritual healing, then invites each person to walk through the spiral and place their candle in the perfect spot for them. Everyone sits in meditative silence until all the candles are placed in the spiral followed by a closing prayer treatment.
