Join the Center for Spiritual Living on Saturday, April 25, 2015, for its annual fundraiser Dinner Dance and Silent Auction. Don’t miss this opportunity to dance to great music and shop for great deals on dining out, services and other fabulous items!
The Center for Spiritual Living Granada Hills supports its members, their families, and the community with spiritual support, healing programs, workshops and education and donations of time and money to a variety of organizations. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and our annual fundraiser helps us support many of our programs and good works. Every year we send some of our kids to summer camp in the mountains where they continue to develop and learn spiritual principles.
The event starts at 6 PM. The address is 16651 Rinaldi Street, Granada Hills, California, 91344.
All proceeds from the annual fundraiser dinner and silent auction go to the Center. To RSVP and purchase tickets, contact Marlene in our office by email or at 818-363-8136.
Tickets cost $70 each or $100 if you want a spot at our Senior Minister’s table. Payment plans are available for those who need them.
Back by popular demand, Anton Mizerak and Laura Berryhill will perform at the Center for Spiritual Living Granada Hills on Friday, April 10th at 7 PM.
Mount Shasta keyboardist, harmonica and tabla player Anton Mizerak and singer Laura Berryhill will present an evening of Celtic songs, transformational healing music, and chants from around the world. Listen to a sample in the video below:
A love offering will be taken at the concert. Park on the street or in our lot directly behind our building.
Please join us in the sanctuary of our Center! Anton and Laura are two of our most popular performers.
The Center for Spiritual Living Granada Hills offers ongoing 6-week Wednesday morning Sangha programs from 9:30 AM to noon. The Sangha is one of our most popular classes, and the next one starts on April 15, 2015.
“Dharma is great compassion, understanding, and love. To realize these qualities, we need a sangha… When a sangha shines its light on our personal views, we see more clearly. In the sangha, we won’t fall into negative habit patterns.”
— Thich Nhat Hahn
Join us at the Sangha for a great learning opportunity in a loving and supportive community facilitated by Reverend Jeanne Hoffman. Our learning and discussion topic for this next 6-week program is based on the book Start Where You Are by the American Buddhist teacher, author, nun and mother, Pema Chodron. You can order one from the Center in advance or purchase it used online.
Sangha members are required to attend the first meeting – the class is closed after the first class so that the intimacy the group begins with will not be interrupted. To RSVP, call Marlene at the Center office (818-363-8136) to reserve your spot and order your book so that there are enough materials for everyone.
