I am Guided to New Good

The one seeking to demonstrate the power of spiritual realization in everyday affairs should believe in Divine Guidance. Ernest Holmes, The Science of Mind, Page 167.

Bring it on, my next thing to do, everything different, everything true. Daniel Nahmood song, Everything New

I recognize that there is One Power, One Creative Intelligence, and I choose to call that God. God is creativity, guidance, and receptivity. I am One with God; therefore, I am creativity, guidance, and receptivity.

I accept that new good into my life. As the world is quickly changes, I gracefully flow with it. I release any old ideas, beliefs, or actions that no longer serve me. I affirm that change is good, and I am open to new ways of creating a wonderful life. I am creative and innovative on new ways to create happiness and prosperity. I am Divinely guided, creative, and inspired, and living a life that I’ve always desired! The activity of God prevails in all that I do. I am engaging in new activities where I feel happy and fulfilled. I am now open and receptive to a wonderful life, excited about new experiences.

I give thanks for the creativity, guidance, and receptivity that I am experiencing right now. I am so I am creating new good in my life.

I release my word to the Law, knowing it is so. And so it is Amen.

I Renew My Mind

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2

There is One Power, One Life, and that is the Life of God. God is love, health, peace, creativity, and guidance. I am One with God; therefore, I am love, health, peace, creativity, and guidance.

I now choose to renew my mind. I “wash my hands” of fear, replacing it with love and faith. I focus on the things that I desire. I know that this, too, shall pass, and I envision myself as renewed and rejuvenated. Creative energy expresses through me, revealing new ideas on how I can be fulfilled and joyful. Also, I am guided on how I can be of service to others. I breathe the life and breath of God, so I embody peace and serenity. I see every single person on this planet as healed, whole, and healthy. I proclaim that the hands of all healthcare professionals, scientists, and service workers are THE HANDS OF GOD, so there is a Divine Solution, and the Divine Solution is a Sublime Solution (Catherine Ponder). God is guiding me to whatever I need to know and do to sustain perfect health. Whatever is going on in the world, I feel Divine love and peace within me. I renew my mind by creating peace within.

I give thanks for the love, health, peace, creativity, and guidance that prevails for me, as well as everyone and everything on this planet. How grateful I am for the renewal of my mind, body, and spirit!

I release my word to the Law of Mind, knowing it is so. And so it is! Amen.

Spring and Renewal

By Rev. Kathy Lyons

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2

Spring is now here – a time of renewal! According to Merriam Webster, Renewal means, to make like new: restore to freshness, vigor, or perfection. Also, it means to bring back a condition of vigor. However, Spring 2020 is vastly different from what we have ever experienced before! Due to COVID-19, we are now mandated to stay at home, and only go out for necessary errands such as grocery shopping. Church services of all denominations are online. Instead of socializing in person, we are utilizing phone calls, texting, emails, Facebook, and for group meetings, Zoom.

So how do we renew and rejuvenate during this stay-at-home time? Renewal is something that we can do at home each day. First, don’t keep the news on all the time. HB Jeffries, author of The Principles of Healing said,There is no hell. If you want to go to hell, read the newspaper.”  That was 80 some years ago – imagine what he would say now with 24/7 news and the Internet! Of course, we need to keep informed of what is going on, but don’t get caught up in fear and negativity. It’s important to follow health guidelines – stay at home, wash our hands, and cover our faces when going out. During this stay-at-home time, we can renew our mind with meditation, prayer, listening to favorite music, and reading uplifting material. I’ve been watching shows on Animal Planet, and old reruns on MeTV to keep in good spirits. As an animal lover, I look at lots of cat pictures on Facebook. Let it be a time to renew hobbies such as cooking, drawing, or writing. Also, we are blessed with technology where we can keep in touch with loved ones. Reach out to old friends and reconnect. Nurture yourself with healthy food, and do some exercise at home or go for walks.

Science of Mind’s form of prayer – Spiritual Mind Treatment, is to renew the mind and heart with new beliefs to create better conditions. No one wished for this stressful situation, but how we respond to it determines our sense of well-being. Ernest Holmes, author of The Science of Mind, says, “Be transformed by the renewal of your mind” is a scientific act, as consciousness pours truth into the subjective channel of creative energy, the body is automatically renewed.” (Page 486).

Affirmation: I am refreshed, rejuvenated, and peaceful.
